I’ve had this since September when I threw it into my YS.us order. It’s quite good, especially at $6/50g. Fairly one-dimensional, but it offers a nice taste of sweet malt as YS describes it. I like the mouthfeel, it’s very refreshing while remaining thick-bodied. I much prefer YS’s “three aroma” bai mu dan: even though I enjoy this tea as well, the former is just more complex and an improvement in every way. Certainly very good as a nice tea to begin or end a day with, but don’t too much from it!

Hi there! I’m Drew from northeastern USA. At 21 years old, I’m slowly aging into a decent raw hu’man. Since first getting into “true tea” in 2016, it has become a staple of my life. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, but when I drink tea the frequency of both drops dramatically. Tea is a wonderful way to meditate, enjoy the energies of the world, and to become present in the moment.

Generally, I think I’ll try to stick to these rating parameters:

91-100: Absolutely incredible. Best taste and energy from any tea I’ve had. (NB: I feel like I haven’t had enough teas to put any I have had into this category quite yet)

81-90: I need to buy this stuff in bulk, because I’m in love with it. The flavor/energy combination is close to perfect.

71-80: I really enjoyed it, but something was lacking.

61-70: Not bad, but not mind-blowing either. I may not drink this specific varietal again, but I likely want to try other kinds of this tea.

51-60: Meh… I’ve given this tea multiple chances, and it’s not for me. Not offensively bad, and I recognize that some people may like it, but it wasn’t for me.

0-50: Yikes. You should consider not buying this.
