1120 Tasting Notes
If there’s one thing I can say for sure about Celestial Seasonings’ fruit teas, it’s that they’re easy. Hot, iced, cold brewed; teabag out after a few minutes or a few days; they’re impossible to ruin. With that comes a simple and sometimes dull taste, yes, but it’s not a bad deal overall. I got a variety box and I’m tempted to pick up a full box of the blueberry… because sometimes you just want blueberries, you know?
Preparation
Since I have $35 worth of tea coming my way, I thought I ought to drink up a few of the things I’ve almost finished. It feels like I’ve had this one forever, since it was one of the first loose leaf teas I ever bought (and one of my first favorites), but really, it’s only been about two years. After more experience, I’ve certainly had better, but it continues to be a very pleasant and forgiving cup that suits any mood.
Still Water Tea Cherry Rose Blossom + Adagio Jasmine Chun Hao
I added them in about equal amounts, but the jasmine flavor completely dominates. I could see myself enjoying this quite a bit if I figured out a proper ratio, it’s a good combination of fruit and flowers.
