I tried this iced in store and ended up buying 50g due almost entirely to how heavenly the dry leaf smelled. It is quite nice, and like others have mentioned, it was reminiscent of mulberry magic for me too. It’s much thicker though, which I liked. I think this would be divine brewed in some almond milk as well (my favourite way to prepare alpine punch too, by the way!) Going to try that next!
My mom thought this tasted like those instant pistachio pudding packages I used to inhale when I was younger, and she’s right in that it’s quite sweet, but not in a hurt your teeth, tastes like candy kind of way. It’s a more natural and pleasing sweetness.
Overall, I really like this tea. I’m not sure yet if it’s a keeper, but I’ll definitely enjoy the rest of this 50g bag.

Kicking myself for not having stocked up on this one. Just finished off the last of what I had on hand and wondering why I haven’t. It didn’t leave a lasting impression on me the first time around and I don’t know why, but it’s definitely a cup I’m enjoying on this cooler summer day. Creamy, minty, almost like misty mints (which I love)!
It reminds me of the Coconut Cream tea Teaopia used to carry (RIP), but it’s been so long since I even had that tea so I might be making this up to try and convince myself… ANYWAY.
Crossing my fingers this one comes back. I won’t be making the same mistake the next time around (if there is a next time!), it’s just so wonderful.

Hibiscus. Hibiscus everywhere. Yes, I am one of those people who absolutely cannot stand hibiscus in tea. This tea is overwhelmingly promising. I just want to love it so much. It smells intoxicating dry and punch you in the face delicious once steeped. It does not smell like hibiscus at all. It just smells like thick, sweet, syrupy strawberry goodness. It smells creamy and it is thick in the mouth. It steeps a gorgeous colour as well, akin to Forever Nuts. It’s just a beautiful concoction. And sadly, a little overrated.
I can taste the strawberry, I can taste the thick, buttery goodness you would expect from a pastry. But that hibiscus. It has no place here. As the tea cools, the tartness from the hibiscus (and rhubarb I guess) becomes even more pronounced, which makes it even less drinkable for me, and this is a sad thing indeed. I have enough for one cup left over and I’m still unsure whether I want to cold brew it or just try it hot again and steeped for less time. I think I might add some soy creamer to it to see if it’ll tone down the tartness. This one is so, SO close to being a keeper for me but it just doesn’t quite get there.

I must have a poorly distributed tin of this because I’m not getting any of the flavours the good reviews mention :( There is no nutty flavour in this tea, which is a bitter disappointment considering my favourite teas are nutty teas! It’s definitely creamy but there’s really no toasted walnut flavour. I get a toasted green tea, much like a genmaicha. Almost grassy? I don’t know how else to explain it really. Once cooled, the pineapple is more pronounced, but still not nutty enough! Such a shame. I really wanted to like this one.

Nope. Not good. Not at all. I’ve tried all kinds of things with this tea and I still can’t create something with it that I like. Iced? Cold brewed? Meh. Hot? Bleh. It’s oily and it smells painfully artificial. The dry leaf smells utterly amazing, but the tea itself has very little body and the flavour is underwhelming. Overall, it tastes like an extremely watered down version of the banana nut bread tea with a hint of a fruity kick to it, but not enough to keep me wanting more.
If I had to describe this experience in a word? Yuck.

This tea is decent iced but I found the taste is a lot more balanced when cold brewed. I cold brewed 1.5 times the amount of tea called for in a 1L mason jar with a tablespoon of agave for around 12-14 hours. It was pretty good. I wasn’t exactly wowed but I did enjoy it while it lasted.
Definitely not a keeper or one I consider worthy of restocking, but the description is pretty spot-on and it was an interesting drinking experience.
