Yogi Tea

My memory could use a boost, and the tea tastes just fine, as well.

Its my favorite type of tea.

I have a box of this, and every once in a while I decide to try it in case my tastes have changed, but it’s just not my speed. I wonder if it would be okay blended (in a small quantity) with a black tea. It might be nice as a secondary flavor.

So besides the obvious reasons for me trying out this tea…ahem…I was pleasantly surprised with the taste! I was a little afraid of the cardamom (don’t really enjoy the flavor), but it wasn’t too strong. A little licorice flavored, but over all it was a really nice blend. Great for bedtime!

The only reason I give this a thumbs down is because I have another echinacea tea that I perfer more than this one. Sorry Yogi! I still love you.

I like this with a touch of honey when I have seasonal allergies.

Aroma before steeping – the spices. Aroma While/After Steeping – Fruity and Spicy. Has a Reddish-Purple Color to it. Not too sure if I am in to it or not. I remember buying this before but it’s been a while. It’s VERY fruity…which I don’t usually like…but the spice also cut it a tad…but not enough. Might be really good cold…but not hot.

Steeped 5 minutes.

A great spice tea. It tastes similar to apple cider, but with a powerful addition of cinnamon.

There must have been something wrong with the box I tried. There was definitely a hint of fish-like flavor in both the taste and scent. I couldn’t stand to drink it, and neither could my sister. We were revolted.

I got this sample in the mail and really did not like it. I like the idea of having cayenne pepper in a tea, but it just doesn’t work with this. To me, at least. Also, I can’t stand the taste of fennel seed, so that really ruined it for me.

Steeped 7 minutes.

A blend of so many healthy, organic ingredients, the most pronounced flavor being the ginger root. The flavor was a bit less than I expected; I wanted a bit more. Truly does help cleanse!

A very warm and spicy chai. Unlike others I’ve had in that it is sweet on its own.

Diverse and tasty blend of spices. Effects are noticeable and interesting.

I steep for about 3-4 minutes. I like this tea for the digestive properties, as well. It sooths upset stomachs. The flavor is not an overwhelming ginger, but it is important that you do like ginger to begin with.

Fairly good. A Bit different that other Chai Teas I have had. A hint of sweetness pops out as you sip.
