This is unlike any Yunnan I have ever tried! I like it when teas are different! It’s roasty and toasty but also smells like a manly cologne almost. It tastes sweet and creamy and there is a toasty earthiness to the taste too!
Altho it’s been YEARS since I have had Marshmellows (I’m a vegetarian and they are NOT vegetarian) – from what I remember of the actual taste of them and by what I read in the company’s description of the roasted marshmellow notes – I guess I can side with that description as well…I can sort of see what they are saying there.
This is a pretty good one! Sooooo glad I was able to try it!
Preparation
Teahouse Kuan Yin identifies this tea as a green tea, but it looks and tastes like a white tea, with the delicate white hairs typical of other white teas. It is a nice, refreshing and delicate tea, good to start the day with.
Preparation
What can I say about Ginseng Oolong? Great alternative to coffee when you need a break- great synergy with coffee, as well, cause it keeps the shakes away.
Not to mention that a little of this before any night on the town drinking will stave off hangovers.
Usually get 7 infusions, which leads me to keep infusion 1, 3, 5 and 7 set aside in a jug for the fridge for ice tea, while I drink 2, 4, 6.
Not to mention 7 soaks with some flying saucers mixed in makes a great Saturday night…
