Lowest price oolong from le palais des thes, why not …
First look, leaves are in pieces, smell isn’t really good.
They say to know a tea try it in a zhong.
All right, the scent bowl is … awfully bad, so is the taste : kids don’t try this at home !
First brew : 30’, second brew : 45’. Both very bad.
Well, at this price, I didn’t expect anything special, no surprise there.

I will try in a big teapot, for the low prices of le palais des thes I think this is the way to go.

The main taste comes from the black tea base, which I don’t really like.

90°C in a big teapot, the taste is either absent or two strong on the dark basis.

Same black tea base as many others from Le Palais des Thes which hide the rest of the taste.

Basic green tea, a little bit of acidity and a cherry taste.
The green tea used for the base is ok.

Brewed at 80°C

Very good oolong for its price. Fruity and flowerish taste with a slight jasmine aftertaste.
6 mn / 90°C in a big teapots or 30/30/45/60/1’30 in a yixing.

A basic oolong with a slight flower taste.
I tried brewing it in a filter and without it : with one, the taste was completely absent, the leaf have to unfold completely.

The brew in a zhong at 95°C was far better than in a big teapot.

The green tea base is too present for my taste, the base is the same for all Le palais des thes’s green teas.
I preferred the roobios version, same taste but without the green base.

This is my favorite tea. The taste and the smell is very relaxant and it gives me positive energy for the whole day. I prefer it in the morning but sometimes I drink it all day long.
