Fridays, I love and hate them at the same time, so I usually treat myself to starting my day with a new tea, so I can review it and lighten the day up a bit.

The raw tea is unlike any green tea i’ve ever seen. It’s visually pleasing to look at, and I brewed it in a class teapot to get the full effect. Not only is this tea visually cool, but when I sip it, my mouth waters a little after I swallow, making me want more. When I breathe in after i’ve sipped, there is a refreshing/cooling, almost menthol-like feel in my mouth, which is great. I feel like this was a stronger tasting green tea, and not light, but I enjoy that about it. I’m going to steep this again right now!

Mmm! What wonderful tea. I really enjoyed the complexity of the honey tones, the tobacco notes as well as some forest flavors. A great tea!

Honeybush in the afternoon is awesome. No caffeine, and a wonderful, honey-nut taste. Kind of like cherioos for adults (ok, I still eat cherioos now anyway, but, I’m just saying). I’m really enjoying honeybush this week, I’m not worrying about staying awake too late tonight, and, I think there’s a decent amount of health benefits while drinking this brew to top it all off. Simply, and, healthfully, delicious.

LeafSpa Teas’ Yunnan Gold is a very smooth, light tea. Considering it is from the Yunnan Provence, this tea is on the lighter side of teas coming out of the region. The lightness is reminiscent of a breakfast black tea. The liquor color is a beautiful copper color, but the flavor is the best part of the tea. The taste includes a tobacco flavor, but is also earthy and peppery in the aftertaste.. There is a lot of body for this tea and just a hint of that darkness that is commonly found in Yunnan teas. The peppery aspect of the tea is found in the aftertaste of the tea and has honey hints that pairs nicely with the slight pepperiness. This pepper flavor is a subtle aspect of the tea versus a dominant flavor in the liquor, which is very pleasing.

I am a big fan of Earl Grey Tea. It is my tea of choice many days. This is an excellent Earl Grey. I am not sure that it is the best I have ever tasted but delicious just the same. At least it’s organic and fair trade certified too I think.

I find the blend to be sweet and fruity enough to be enjoyed by day, yet relaxing enough (thanks to the chamomile and lack of caffeine content) to be sipped at night. As we progress into the summer months, this tea will make an excellent iced tea delight.
I find the aroma of this blend to be highly intoxicating! Reminds me of a real creamsicle!

Now I like a nice strong brew, so this tea suits me perfectly. Every time I brewed a cup of this tea, I couldn’t believe how quickly I would finish it. This is a smooth, full-bodied tea with a touch of malty sweetness. Great anytime of the day, but especially in the morning when caffeine is most essential.

Wow What a fun tea this is! I had never heard of Blink Bonnie prior to discover LeafSpa Organic teas. For every tea lover, you must try this visually-stunning hand-crafted designer tea. This green tea consists of green, white and cinnamon colored leaves hand-twisted into 2-inch spears. Definitely a tea to be steeped in a glass container to watch it unfurl. Presents with an earthy tone. A most exquisite and elegant tea. Great job LeafSpa!

Nice balance between the tea and the flavor, which is quite subtle, but still “fruity”.

can’t sleep so I’m sippin’ some strong chamomile. There’s a honey flavor to this chamomile (and no, I’m not putting honey in it!) that very warming. OK…going to give it another shot. Nighty nite.

Steeping this tea now as it’s perfect for after this morning’s workout. It brews a really nice color in my new Sorapot. I’d write more but I’ve gotta run.

It’s really late or early morning and I’m thinking about tea. I would like to try a new dessert tea. What is your favorite?

Really nice tea. The dry leaf is basically a black tea with tons of golden tips. Quite attractive coppery liquor color. Great mouthfeel, awesome rounded caramel and tobacco notes is what I’m getting. I’m going to make a second cup now.

Just on my first infusion, but boy, this is good! A bit of roast, pepper and maybe some camphor at the finish. Lively green notes, too!

Wow. A green decaf that is quite respectable. Light, not overpowering. Refreshing. I want to try this on ice.

This is one of my favorite green teas. Not cheap but worth it for special mornings (like today). I steep it a little longer than some of my other greens without any detriment which is really nice. This morning, I notice that the liquor has a wonderful straw yellow color, a nice rounded fullness in the mouth, and there is an excellent balance of vanilla head notes with a soft maltiness that just lingers on forever. Mmmm…so good.

Hee, with a name like that it should be good! It sounds pretty nommy. Side bar, what makes this morning special?

Tea Savant

Well, I’m pretty close to finding a new job and I found a twenty dollar bill in my jacket pocket this morning! Plus, my dogs let me sleep in a few extra minutes. For me, that makes it a really special morning these days! : )

takgoti

Wa-hey! That works! All good things! [And best of luck on the job front!]

!!! Sorry, I’m clearly in a very exclamatory mood today.

This is a great green tea to start off your day with. At least, I’m starting off my cold overcast Saturday with the warmth and peachy notes of this completely drinkable tea.
