This is a really nice oolong tea. I first had it at work, and it tasted delicious despite the water conditions at work generally hurting the flavor. I tried it again at home, and it was indeed very pleasant. I think I steeped the leaves four times on Friday, and it tasted great every time. The expansion of the leaves is also really impressive. Dried, they are so tiny… and after steeping, they become the BIGGEST. LEAVES. EVER. Okay, perhaps not “ever,” but they are massive compared to their dry state. Overall, very tasty tea.

The leaves of this tea smell AMAZING… which made me immediately worried that it would be one of many teas that smells better than it tastes. I also haven’t been a fan of the “green + black teas” I’ve tried so far. The last fruity green+black tea I had was Passion Fruit Jasmine by Persimmon, and the black tea portion was stronger than the green tea and it tasted very bitter. So I was worried about this one…

In stark contrast to my expectations, this tea is DELICIOUS! It tastes like it smells, which is really impressive. The fruit flavors are strong and perfect. I think I enjoyed this more after the second steep because the first steep was a little bitter, but the second one was more mellow (black tea-wise) yet the fruit flavor remained strong. Very delicious! I’m having it without rock sugar, and it definitely doesn’t need sugar.

I just finished my sample of this, and I should note that I used all of my sample at work where the water and/or electric kettle somehow makes tea taste a bit different than (not as good as) the tea I make at home. In any case, this was a perfectly pleasant green tea. It’s not my top-favorite green tea (although most plain green teas I’ve had have tasted very similar), but it’s certainly a good tea and I enjoyed every cup of it.

I thought this was a pretty decent rooibos tea. I could detect both the pineapple and coconut flavor (I added a small amount of rock sugar), but neither was overwhelmingly strong. I’ve had it twice as a wind-down evening tea, and I’ve enjoyed it both times. It’s not good enough to get again, but I’ll happily finish what I have.

First, this does not taste like pumpkin, and I guess that makes sense as there’s no pumpkin in it. In any case, it’s a decent tea. It doesn’t stand out and isn’t particularly delicious, but it’s not bad. The flavor is subtle and a little fruity, with the tiniest bit of spiciness (although it isn’t present in every sip). Not bad and I’ll certainly finish the sample, but this definitely isn’t a buy-again tea.

This is a nice green tea with a little bit of fruit flavoring (it doesn’t necessarily taste like pomegranate—the leaves are indeed flavored with other fruits—but the fruity touch is nice). Proper temperature and steeping time are definitely important with this tea, as I made it way too bitter the first time. While this is a very pleasant tea, right now it’s not a “stand out” so I probably won’t buy more when I finish my sample.

This is DELICIOUS! The pistachio flavor is strong (and perfect!) and there is definitely a creaminess to the flavor as well (how do they do it?). I steeped the leaves twice and it was delicious both times. I have a feeling that I’m going to end up buying more of this when I finish my sample… As a bonus, the tea is caffeine-free! Almost all of my caffeine-free teas are rooibos or fruit, and I’m not always in the mood for one of those in the evening. I can definitely see myself drinking this regularly in the evenings.

Silentrequiem wrote a glowing review about the deliciousness of this tea PLUS this tea was temporarily available online for a ridiculously discounted price, so I bought two 1lb bags. It is definitely very, very tasty. I’ve only had it cold so far, and I’ve tried it with two different types of vanilla soymilk as well as with 1% real milk. I think I liked it better with soymilk (as long as there’s enough matcha powder to prevent the vanilla flavor from taking center stage). I’ve been making it with a bit more powder than recommended because I like the flavor stronger. The powder has a bunch of sweetener in it, so this is probably bad… I’ve also found it hard to drink this slowly because it’s just so tasty.

It’s best blended (to make sure there are no powder balls), but simply shaking the milk and powder in a sealed container works pretty well (although the last time I did this, I kept encountering powder balls and had to re-shake it halfway through). Overall, a very tasty tea [that I’m drinking too much of]!

I need to buy more of this. I’m almost out of my first 1 lb bag…

I love jasmine tea, so I felt guaranteed to like this one. It is indeed a tasty tea, although I couldn’t detect any coconut flavor. The jasmine flavor was also weaker compared to all other jasmine teas I’ve had.

I can’t believe I gave this tea such a low rating the first time I tried it! I actually didn’t realize I’d already tried it when I started making it again earlier this week. I’ve had it three nights this week, and I am quite fond of it now. The flavor is very subtle, but it’s been exactly what I’ve wanted most nights this week: Caffeine-free, soft, light, not sweet, warm… It’s as refreshing as water, but hot and with just the right amount of flavor. I ate way too much Indian food tonight and I really wanted warm tea, but nothing heavy. This was perfect.

I don’t know if I quite like this enough to buy again, but I am glad that my reaction to it has changed so much. It’s very much a “mood tea.” Most of the time it’s probably not what I would pick from the shelf, but it’s nice to have it when certain moods strike.

I started drinking loose leaf tea in December 2011. I usually use Teavana’s Perfect TeaMaker at home, and their Remi Mug at work. Some day I would like to have a cast iron set… a red one with dragons!
