This tea is very sweet and thick. I am not really sure why. I feel like it has honey in it, but the ingredients don’t list honey. Regardless I do enjoy it, as I do most chais. It does have a bit of spice too it, but not too much. It pairs well with food. Today I paired it with a Luna Bar.

Free sample time = yay! This was surprisingly good. It was very juicy and fruity with just a touch of ginger! I enjoyed try it! Although I think I have tried this one before.

Hi,
Would you consider a swap? I really want to try this, but can’t find it locally, and I am not ready to jump into a 100 bag box. I would love a few, and would gladly offer a few samples from my cupboard in return.

Caitlin

Yeah sure! I know how you feel – I only was able to try this tea via a swap and then I decided I liked it enough to buy the huge box. Send me a PM.

I won the 52 teas 6-week subscription contest (insert happy dance here), and this is the first tea I received! I was excited because this probably wouldn’t have been a tea I would have purchased myself, but it was really quite delicious!
Apple, cinnamon, orange, green tea all the flavors are their without fighting one another. Plus it has this yummy baked quality that I saw other people mention.
I posted a more extensive review on my blog if you want to check it out, but in short- yum!: http://apurpledress.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/52-teas-a-six-part-series/

Made of cup of this with breakfast. I managed to get the steeping parameters just right so it was extra-creamy and delicious. Great way to start off a Monday on Spring Break!

I decided to have some fun with a flowering tea tonight! It was lots of fun. It was also a nice earl grey too. Especially if you are like me and aren’t really into a heavy bergamot flavor.

I posted a full review with pictures and everything on my brand new blog, if you want to check it out!!

Hmm, a flowering Earl Grey. That’s not something you see every day.

Caitlin

I know. I don’t know if I have ever seen another one besides this one.

Sunday morning breakfast tea is soooo much better when I know I don’t have to do homework for the rest of the day! This tea is a delicious, malty and strong. The perfect morning wake up call.

By the way did any else not know it was daylight savings today. Thought I was waking up at 11 and it was actually noon – whoops.

This was a great Saturday breakfast tea. I love this teas richness! With a little splash of milk it tastes kind of like a fancy coffee drink. I find myself craving it all the time. In my opinion thats the mark of a good tea.

I can’t remember when I had this to be honest…a few days ago I think. I have been crazy swamped with school stuff before spring break starts so its been a lot of bagged tea and old staples the past few weeks.
Anyway, the smell of this tea blew me away. It literally smells identical to a chocolate covered strawberry. I doubt I could tell the difference if I did a direct comparison. It smells juicy and delicious. I am always a little wary when a tea has a steep time of under 2 minutes, mostly because I would much rather have an oversteeped tea than an understeeped one. But I was good and followed the instructions and I am glad I did. It came out the perfect combination or strawberry, chocolate, and an earthy flavor that I am assuming is the Puer. It was delicious. This one is gonna have to go on my mental shopping list :)

I still need to try my sample of this. Sounds good.

Caitlin

You should definitely try it out. It is quite enjoyable and I am really picky about chocolate flavored tea – haha.

LiberTEAS

Rachel-it is really good. One of the best chocolate teas I’ve tried!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

Alright, you have convinced me. I will try it tomorrow. I am picky about chocolate teas as well. Can’t wait to see how this tastes.

Bio

Tea has always been a part of my life. A cup of tea was always the solution to middle school tears and high school early mornings.

When I was in college I started quite the little tea collection in my tiny kitchen cabinets.

I have definitely scaled back my tea ordering and tasting the past 2 years or so, but I am getting back into it.

Outside of tea my interests include reading, photography, too much tv, visiting new places, trying new restaurants and playing video games with my husband.
