6 Tasting Notes
I will begin by saying that Earl Grey is by far my favorite flavored tea, coming in near second would be black teas flavoured with rose petals, so I was expecting to really love this tea.
I was right. It is very, very good. The aroma of the dry leaves, as well as the aroma of the liquor was very “earl grey” . The actual flavor of the tea is not so much earl grey, but a lighter, with subtle rose hints.
Preparation
I was disappointed to see that this tea was CTC in the bag, as I have heard it touted so much, I was expecting full conventional leaf, and I have had some stomach issues with CTC in the past.
Other thank that, it is a pretty good tea, if not a little bitter, but I do like bitter flavors, so this did not bother me too much.
For me, not an everyday tea, but a once-in-a-while type of thing.
Preparation
Found this tea in a local store and was blown away by how good it was. The cinnamon is right up front, to smack you in the face, so to speak, but it has a nice sweet aftertaste that I was blown away by.
Just drink it straight, no milk/cream or sugar needed!
