16 Tasting Notes
As soon as I smelled this teabag, I knew I was in for something serious. The smell alone is worth the purchase honestly. I make the extra effort of nearly breathing in the teabag every time I brew this. It’s not so much spicy, but very flavorful and tasty. All the components work so well together!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Orange Zest
Okay, I’m having mixed feelings about this tea. I just brewed a cup and steeped it for about 4 minutes.
It smelled like a cleaning product.
Then I added some honey thinking it might taste better- hell no. Now it tastes like sweetened pledge lemon wipes.
Then out of curiosity I added some milk- WOW!! Huge difference, it’s almost ridiculous. Now it almost tastes like a very smooth earl grey. I can see myself drinking this if I’m in the mood for something creamy and lemony, it’s wonderful.
This is one of those teas that REQUIRES milk.
I’m obsessed with mint tea, and this is my all time favorite. Nothing even comes close, the minty-ness is simply outstanding. Its really strong but it still tastes so fresh and wonderful!
I always have a stash of this at home, this tea is now and always will be a necessity.
Preparation
So far this is one of my favorite lemon teas! So many other lemon flavored teas taste like floor-cleaner lemon. This doesn’t have that chemical-y, artificialness to it.
It has this really bold, natural tasting lemon flavor that smells even better.
Be careful brewing this though… If you let the teabag steep for too long it gets really bitter and the lemon flavor is destroyed
Preparation
I’m in love with this tea. It’s definitely not a strong chai by no means but the vanilla works unbelievably well for me. As soon as the water hits the teabag and the aroma wafts into my nose my eyes roll back into my head and I shiver in pure ecstasy. That split second moment right when the aroma of sweet french vanilla and exotic chai spices hits is worth dying for.
Sometimes I hover over it while its steeping and just breathe it in, it smells that good.
10 minutes later I add a gallon of honey and I have to fight the urge to drink it in one continuous gulp.
Preparation
Overall I feel this doesn’t taste as maple-y as it should. Maybe I’ve just been drinking too many herbal teas lately? I feel like there’s this maple tree earthiness I’m missing out on. I definitely taste the black tea in there though, and its delicious! At one point I was addicted to this tea.
