I feel bad that the rest of the country is suffering from a heatwave and it’s still foggy and overcast here. The house we were staying at in the Oakland Hills was freezing! The downside of that is I feel tired all the time when the fog is around.

Anyway I am back at home with my massive tea collection and I really need something to perk me up before I go to the movies with a friend. I reached for this again because I was in the mood for something sweet and hoping the black tea will revive me! I liked this one, especially with a bit of soymilk and some sugar, it’s like a decadent dessert without all the calories.

I want to try Frank’s new black tea base soon, but I’m waiting for a flavor to come up that really appeals to me. Meanwhile, this is really tasty!

Poor cold Amy! Ha! I get it though…having been in that area in the Summer!
Glad I have Air Conditioning! But humidity would kill me! Oh No!

I used to live in Maryland and I hated the humidity… yuck!

We had an incredible storm here the other night. Trees downed power lines and many people are still without electric.

TeaBrat

yeah, my parents live in Maryland and had a terrible storm, I was worried about them as they are getting on in age. Luckily they were only without power for a few hours.

I’m also one of the lucky ones in MD with power. It actually never went out for us. But a lot of my co-workers haven’t had power since Friday, and the electric company says they won’t be able to restore power till the following Friday. The hotels are all booked up because it was 103 degrees over the weekend, and most people couldn’t survive it without A/C.

Dislikes include: bergamot, jasmine, highly tannic or bitter teas, overly judgmental and bitter people. :)

Live in San Francisco, I’m a SINK (single income, no kids) and love the urban life, but traveling out to the middle of nowhere is always fun too.

I tend to not drink things I know I will hate so a lot of my tea ratings are on the higher side. Here’s my rating system, sorta
