drank Kava Stress Relief by Yogi Tea
14 tasting notes

I thought I didn’t like kava, but I wanted to give this tea a chance before tossing it to make room for other teas. I also don’t care for anise flavors to the licorice in it made me wary. But this tea is really pleasant. The cardamon is the most clear part of the flavor for me, but the tea isn’t super cardamony. It’s got a mild sweetness to it, and tastes like northern european spices, like norse dishes. It’s lovely.

I appreciate that this tea is semi sweet without any sweetener. The aroma is pleasant and it brews up with nice body. It’s pleasant. But Uncle Filberts Nutty Dessert Tea is so much better, in a similar flavor profile.

I tend not to like Chai very much, but this one is very drinkable. I had it sweetened with honey this time, due to a cold, but am very much looking forward to adding milk, I think it will do very well that way.

Of the few Thai Tea’s available locally, this is my favorite. It brews true to what I expect Thai Tea to taste like. It has a lightly spiced earthy tone to it. It’s nice and red-orange.

I’m very fond of this tea. It’s a rich black tea with a lovely semi-sweet nutty flavor. It is wonderful for savoring and enjoying with (or as) a treat.

drank Black Spiral by The Tao of Tea

The flavor profile provided by Tao of Tea is spot on. I was particularly fond of the sweet potato undertones. This tea was fantastic and held up to repeated steeping without astringency as promised. Would drink again.

I find this Lapsang Souchong to be somewhat less bitter than other’s I’ve tried. Really though, I feel this tea is a blending tea and is a bit strong on it’s own.
