259 Tasting Notes
Ingediants: 70% Green Tea, 25% Jujube and 5% Osmanthus.
Aroma: A slight fruity and floral scent.
Flavour: The fruity flavours aren’t incredibly prominent and stay quite weak. But you have to remember there aren’t any flavourings and all the ingredients are natural. This tea does taste nice, with a mild hint of fruits, providing a slightly sweeter green tea which would be perfect for those used to sugar without the naughty calories.
Flavors: Fruit Punch, Fruity, Plum, Sweet, Toasted
Preparation
Ingredients: 78% Green Tea, 12% Ginger and 10% Lemon Peel.
Aroma: No distinct smell.
Flavour: I really like ginger, it’s one of my top favourite flavours in tea, whereas lemon is most probably one of my all-time least favourite, two ends of my preference spectrum! With this in mind it’s both lucky and unlucky that the flavours of both ingredients are quite mild, offering little hints of flavour rather than being a full on tongue blaster. However, the ingrediants are all 100% natural… no flavourings, bonus!
Flavors: Ginger, Lemon, Nutty, Toasted
Preparation
Ingredients: 100% Green Tea.
Aroma: A lovely toasted green tea aroma.
Flavour: The teabags create a gorgeous toasted flavour from the leaves. You may also note a very slight grassy, almost sweet, element. If I’m honest, I was actually taken aback by how lovely Tg Green Tea tastes. I opened up one of the teabags to look at the quality of the leaves and whilst they aren’t quite top notch superior quality, they are definitely much better than supermarket own and big brand green tea bags.

I’ve also found that black teas blended with fruity flavours can either be done really well or really badly and I have yet come across a mediocre or in-between. No. 67, you’ll be glad to hear (I hope), is one of the perfectly mixed, well-blended teas. The taste is fruity, but not overpoweringly so, providing a lovely subtle berry flavour with a minor peppery finish, which is an unexpectedly nice addition to the palate. There were times when I even wished the peppery profile was a little stronger, adding a more savoury to the sweet. However, there’s still just enough juxtaposition of flavourings to delight and surprise the senses. For my full review: http://tastethetea.co.uk/2016/06/27/no67/

This was by far my favourite tea in the pack for multiple reasons. Firstly, Oolong is my favourite kind of tea due to its broad variety and complex flavours across a whole range of spectrums. Secondly, I love ginger. Anything ginger. I felt this tea served to refresh my mind and awaken my senses. It was really great the morning after some cocktails and actually, has been great every morning this week. I’m usually up by 6/6.30AM for work so it’s nice to have a light stimulating tea rather than a heavy black tea. The ginger could probably be a little stronger for my preferences, but it’s still very noticeable.

This was my least favourite in the Teagime pack. If I’m being honest, I really didn’t like this the first time I tried this. It doesn’t really have any honey notes, I couldn’t taste the oolong and it tasted quite similar to chamomile, which I had stated I didn’t like on my questionnaire. After two days of struggling through drinking this and really not liking it, I decided to cold brew the tea instead. I found this drastically improved the tea and whilst I still didn’t massively like it and it left a powdery feel on my tongue from the pollen, I have managed to drink it more successfully and it felt much more refreshing and hydrating this way.

I’m quite partial to a bit of rose tea every now and then, but it’s not often that I go for a rose blend before bed. I usually go for mint or rooibos. I found this to be a lovely change though. It’s gentle, without letting the rose be overpowering and it look incredibly beautiful! Here’s another picture, because just look at it.

Lovely strong ginger flavour combined with the matcha! Would definitely recommend this, it’s so flavourful!
I also made a smoothie with it as part of the #summerofmatch campaign run by Eat Clean Tea. To check out my Pina Comatcha recipe click here: http://tastethetea.co.uk/2016/05/22/summerofmatcha/

This is an amazingly fruity blend thats seems to be the real deal, great ingredients AND great taste. I feel like this could even be enjoyed by children as a healthy alternative to fruit drinks, such a Ribena or squash, as long as you don’t mind letting them drink small amounts of caffeine. I was given tea as a child and I turned out OK!
