Is this the same as the “Every Day Sencha” because it has the same description. Weirdly I looked up what ‘Sagi’ translates to from Japanese and it means ‘fraud’. Which is interesting. Anyway.
I got 12g of this from my May Sipsby box and thought to try it out this morning. First steep was a little too bitter but I might have left it in too long. Second steep is much more pleasant and just about what I expect from a decent Sencha, pleasantly grassy. Probably going to go for a third and then retire this batch of leaves.
Flavors: Grass
Hello Starfevre, Sagi is also the kanji for heron. We named this line of teas in commemoration of beautiful birds.
ooooh. That makes a lot more sense. Thanks
