My first order from Steep City Teas and I thought I’d go for the classic mint-chocolate flavour combination because I’ve always been a fan of those. Steep City puts their own little twist to it by adding some chamomile to the blend that has real chocolate chips in it, along with what I think is peppermint.
The flavour is pretty mild with a 3 minute steep. The mint is a bit stronger than the chocolate, but they are both clearly present. The chamomile adds an interesting under- and after-taste to the tea, which is pleasant. The black base is barely present.
Overall I think this is a good blend for the genre. Interesting little twist to it with the chamomile. Thumbs up.
