1113 Tasting Notes
Very green TGY that brews a light cup. The taste is mild but very clean. This would be a great cup of tea to sip on while walking through a flowery area since it wouldn’t obstruct the senses from perception of beauty in nature, aka it’s a nice tea to sip on while you walk.
I believe I like my TGY on the mild side or roasted so this is nice.

The compressed oolong minicake here is quite nice with a floral hint to it
The leaf expands quite a bit and can make A LOT of tea. While the floral taste is nice and clean, I wouldn’t put this as a top oolong. I really enjoyed this and would buy it again. Fun experience with a nice taste

I received this tea in swap which was interesting because I’ve never seen Tazo in loose leaf form. I decided that it sounded like a nice tea to make iced via cold steeping overnight for my graduation party. I went ahead and tasted it after I finished brewing it and realized that it’s a fantastic cold steeped tea. The black tea is mild like a sweet tea without sugar and the peach is quite nice, not too juicy with the small spice. I hope everyone else likes it tonight because I find it to be excellent as an iced tea.
All of Tazo’s blends are better iced than hot, I find.
That is probably correct. If you cold steep something it tends to be milder which helps a lot when some teas are a bit bitter when brewed hot. I find it interesting to compare hot versus cold steeping. My favorite is to cold steep rooibos teas because the warm woodsy taste disappears.
Interesting! I’ll definitely need to give that a try.
So as a college student I like to find good deals and one of them was a bunch of new Davids Tea on Ebay so I bid and won. Interestingly enough, the seller included some Butiki tea which I found odd but it made me happy.
I decided to brew this one this morning and thought it was a green tea. For a white tea it has some strength to it. I can taste the marshmallow for sure, not so much the lime. Either way, I actually enjoy this cup of tea.
My mom wanted something fruity so I opened up my container of this and got to open a fresh sealed bag of tea :)
The first smell of fruit teas after they have been sealed shut is fantastic.
This tea didn’t provide 100% satisfaction for me, but I can say that the taste is cleaner than Tea Xotics goji green tea which was nice to have another tea to compare it to. I believe this would be wonderful cold which is what I will do with it next. While it’s not the best cup of tea, it looks wonderful and smells good- as for the taste it could improve.

I ordered from Dreamweaver for the red sandalwood peach tea with bee pollen and yet I bought multiple teas from there- here’s the issue: This tea is AMAZING.
Here I am making a tea to sip slowly so I chose something that does’t sound good, watermelon mint BLACK TEA (black teas are nasty, right?).
Well, turns out that this is amazingly balanced and provides a wonderful pot of tea.
I brewed this at 190 for three minutes and there is a clear presence of watermelon taste with a minty aftertaste; aftertaste everyone, the watermelon is not killed by the mintyness while you drink it.
Now you know why I hate it, I really wish this tea sucked and the peach teas was phenomenal.

Don’t you hate when you go to eat something nice looking and it isn’t?
It’s the same for me when I choose something for the lack of appeal and then it’s good.
I’m odd, I know… but I don’t want to be the guy who says “I like watermelon mint tea”

Black tea is the bomb. You’re learning to love it! :) Also I think you’ll find many Steepsterites think drinking flavoured tea is awesome too. :D
This was one of the most looked forward to teas for me… but the scent of the teas ruined everything I bought from their Etsy shop because of packaging.
This tea has bee pollen and red sandalwood in it :)
I will say that it was quite enjoyable but it could be a lot better if the scents were not mixed between the teas. I might reorder this in the future alone because of scent issues. I really like the idea of peach, bee pollen, and red sandalwood mixed into a cup of tea- it’s therapy in cup.
I was so excited to drink this because it had flakes of apple in it that look fantastic.
I’m not even sure how the tea itself taste though, the packaging of my samples are all contaminated by the watermelon mint aroma. I’m going to drink all of these teas, but I won’t know how they really taste because of packaging :(
Picked this up in a stash sell for a friend and I. This doesn’t taste like coffee nor cigarettes, but it does have nice smoky earth like taste that was enjoyable. I can’t pinpoint exactly what I was tasting with language but it was nice. I wish it kind of had a scent of ashtray with a strong burst of brisk coffee to it… oh well, was a nice sipping session either way.

I got home last night and wasn’t sure what to drink out of 908039284903809483209840932 teas so I chose something that sounded juicy. Unfortunately, both of the steepings of this tea has no fruit flavor at all. The oolong flavor was okay, but when you’re expecting tangerine to pop out it just doesn’t do it. I would have settled for vivid dreams as I sipped it without the tangerine though… that didn’t happen either (not that I expected it to). The appearance was nice, green oolong with orange pieces in there but they just don’t show up on my tongue :/
I agree. I felt the same way about this.
I have a handful more of their oolongs… I really hope they are not like this, but it was odd because I could see the fruit and not taste it at all.
I guess we will have to work on adding more tangerine flavor. It can be tough because I didn’t want to overpower the base, as people often complain about fruity teas being a little overly fruity and not enough tea flavor. It is a pendulum that is very difficult to predict, in terms of adding the flavor. Sometimes the results are fruity, other times they are not. I suppose that explains the differing results I have seen so far. Keep in mind we are a new company, so we are always fine-tuning our recipes. Oolong tea blends in particular are difficult.
I completely understand not wanting to overpower the tea with any flavor at all. To be honest, if you were to take mildly roasted or darker oolong and made it a tangerine creamsicle, you would have many people trying it out. It just came to me because I could easily drink some phoenix oolong while eating a creamsicle. That is different though… I think if you amped the flavoring on this tea a bit you can market it as having two steeps; the difference would be strength.
