7 Tasting Notes
It has been awhile since I’ve had this one, I think I’m on my 7th or 8th steep now and it’s still going strong.
Nice full bodied, easy drinker. I’m starting to get the tea sweats but that may be because it’s 28℃ here today. I can’t wait until we get back into the cool fall temperatures and I can sit outside and enjoy my shou
I feel bad.. I had this one sitting under my monitor and forgot to pack it up when I sent the box off, sorry to anyone looking forward to trying it :(
On to the tea though, it’s a really nice black that I could see myself drinking again for sure. I’m on my second steeping and the flavour is really nice. It leaves a lingering sweetness on my palate that leaves me wanting to drink more and more.
Looking forward to seeing how this tea holds up to a few more steeps :)
Edit: Not really sure how to explain this but the tea leaves such a nice smokey bittersweet taste, I’ve never really experienced anything quite like it from a tea I’m really loving this
Well I guess it would be unfair to claim I don’t like ripe pu’erh anymore.
I’m sluggishly preparing myself for my closing shift tonight and figured I’d give this one a try, now I’m on my third steeping.
I really enjoyed this one, thanks to Dexter for putting it in the tea box!
Believe it or not, since I made created this blend last year, this has been my first tea of the day everyday. Srsly going on a year of being obsessed with it. The cakes that I had pressed on 10/25/2012 are really opening up now, too. Gettin’ good.
Thanks for writing about it! I appreciate it. Tea ya later!
Wow, I was not expecting this to be so good.. I opened it up and it smelled great. Threw the kettle on and brewed some, got distracted and forgot about it steeping for about 4-5 minutes..
But wow, I enjoy some flavoured teas but this is really great, it has such a warm comforting flavour like a fresh out of the oven cinnamon bun.
I will be buying a very large bag of this! Thanks to whoever put that in the tea box :)
