8 Tasting Notes
A very refreshing cup of tea. The ginger and lemon combine well together with the green rooibos to provide a comfortable and satisfying afternoon tea, perfect for rainy days at the computer.
Flavors: Ginger, Lemon
Preparation
Not impressed. I really don’t like the overpowering cinnamon flavor of this, and was really hoping for a more balanced traditional “chai” flavor. The cinnamon is the only flavor I taste long after drinking it, and while this is a great flavor, I can buy it much more cheaply from Good Earth’s traditional tea! I expect something more balanced and complex when I pay this much for it.
Preparation
This is my all time favorite bed time tea. I love rose petal tea and that’s what originally drew me to this tea, but it is so soothing and drinking a small mug before cuddling into the covers for the night is a wonderful experience. The herbs are a good mix, very balanced, and it’s naturally sweet without being overwhelming. I think it may even help me relax!
Preparation
This is another favorite for when I have to make do with bagged green tea. It’s forgiving with the water temperature and doesn’t taste bitter like a lot of bagged green tea. It’s light, and the lemon grass adds a nice flavor to it. Perfect for when I have to travel and can only take bagged tea along. With a low enough water temperature I leave it in the mug steeping as long as I can for extra lemon grass flavor.
Preparation
I usually prefer my teas in loose leaf form but for those times when I need portable tea in a bag this is perfect. Not very strong on the green tea side, it’s fairly forgiving with water temperature. I love the honey taste and smell, that’s what brings me back to it again and again.
Preparation
I tried this recently and immediately bought a bag of it. I like regular rooibos tea okay, but this is amazing. It has the taste of a nice green tea, which I love but can’t enjoy in the afternoons and evenings, and the floral flavors added to it make it divine. My new favorite non-tea tea!
