Deliriumsfrogs was right, she thought I would like this tea and I do!

I admit, I’m not the best at smelling things and saying what I smell for sure, but I am learning. I had to keep sniffing this one to figure out what it smelled like. Apricot? Plum maybe? Not just a peach stone fruit smell for sure. I don’t eat many apricots or plums so it could be that as well. But, it smelled nice and sort of mysterious!

It got me through having to let someone go today, and putting out a bunch of end of the month fires. That’s saying a lot. I definitely will restock this one at some point, since it fills my strong tea preference but has a different flavor than the norm. I tend to get about a dozen Earl Grays and then don’t have much variety.

Bio

Mom of two practically grown girls, extremely happily married to a man who is amused by my obsession with tea, and company owner who works from home. Life is good.

Likes/dislikes: I love black teas, especially strong/malty ones. I am ok with flavored teas if the base is strong. I like some whites. I really don’t like any tea that tastes “green” – if I wanted to drink something that tastes like green beans, I would cook some green beans. I am not big on green teas or genmaichas. I am learning to like puerhs.

If we are trading, I have a STRONG aversion to coconut, banana and licorice. I love citrus, vanilla and spice. Not a fan of florals.
