Backlog:
The aroma is reminiscent of a fruity bubblegum, this is especially apparent in the dry leaf. Once the leaves are brewed, the liquid is still fruity and bubblegum-y, but I can also pick up on notes of Darjeeling, or notes that I would expect from a Darjeeling.
I would recommend watching the temperature with this tea. When the water is too hot, the flavor is a little “off” to me and a little bitter too. A cooler temp, 195°F is what I’d recommend will result in a tastier cup.
It’s an interesting tea, I enjoyed it.
