Backlog:

When I brewed this, I was looking to relax a little bit. Maybe not destress so much as just something to find a sense of inner calm and I have to admit that this tea did that. It’s a functional tea that does what it claims.

The cumin is strong in this but it isn’t overwhelming. It has a sort of curry-ish type of flavor, with notes of green tea and citrus. I taste the ginger and licorice but I don’t get a lot of lavender flavor.

Overall, a pleasant tea. Most functional teas I find to be quite medicinal, but I like that this is a little more like a savory broth rather than a medicine. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/04/22/ayurvedic-de-stress-tea-from-tea-of-life/

I am obsessed with tea!

I am a co-founder of the SororiTEA Sisters:

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
