this is absolutely lovely tea. it’s strong and the sweetness goes with the malt very well. it can handle milk without losing flavour. a mere hint of astringency. the black currant flavour is subtle but resonant. and unique.

I’m a writer who drinks a lot of black tea. My favs are robust black teas, especially Lapsang Souchong and Irish Breakfast.
