Received this from EmilyGee to try, thanks Emily!

It smells more chocolate/orange dry than it does when brewed. I don’t sense the orange anywhere except maybe a slight hint of citrus right at the end. But it’s ever so faint, I miight even just be willing my tastebuds to notice it.
The chocolate is there, but in a very earthy sense as opposed to the sweet commercial sense. Or it could just be that I’m not familiar with pu-erh tea and the earthiness is from that.
I don’t think it’s orangy enough for my liking, so I doubt I’d buy it in future.

Flavors: Dark Chocolate, Earth

Preparation
195 °F / 90 °C 8 min or more 1 tsp 17 OZ / 500 ML

Bio

I do the Tea Festival every year, but I wouldn’t call myself a tea expert, I just know what I like.

Tea Preferences: I like my black teas. If it has bergamot or vanilla, even better. I can’t do smokey teas, and I’m super picky about herbal & fruit teas (but up to the challenge of finding some I like!)

My favourite teas:
Organic Bergamot Cream – Tea Sparrow
Organic Blueberry Rooibos – Tea Sparrow
Buckingham Palace Garden Party – Majestea’s (discontinued)
Organic Pineapple Oolong – David’s Tea
Peaches & Cream – Sloane Tea
Paris – Harney & Sons
