drank Chestnut by Adagio Teas

Really busy stressful day planned, so I felt like coming back to a comforting old friend. Brewed up 1 tsp of this one mixed with 1 tsp of “Caramel,” a combination I’ve tried and loved before. It’s a warm, nutty, maple sugary treat, so indulgent and rich. Really I can hardly make myself wait for it to cool a tad and keep burning my tongue on it! Threw in a pinch of truvia as usual – I do like my teas a bit on the sweet side.

I love flavored teas, especially black “dessert-like” teas, or teas I can make dessert-like with the addition of almond milk and truvia. Yes, I’m that girl that never orders her coffee black, and instead gets the double mocha on ice with whipped soy cream and almond shavings. Hey, that’s what I love, and I’m not afraid to embrace it! I’m on the warpath to sample as many new teas as my budget (and husband) will allow, and am pretty much working my way through the entire Adagio catalog at the moment.

I almost always hate chamomile or any blend with chamomile in it, and have detested every single Earl Grey I’ve tried (sorry…I’ve tried quite a few!).

I am lucky to live and work in the fantastic city of Portland, and I’m vegan.
