I got pulled in by the pretty gold tin, but this tea is quite good. It’s like Lupicia’s Genmaicha with Soybean without the matcha. It’s smooth and has a roasted taste, but very clean after a sip.
It’s good, but it’s so similar to other genmaicha teas by Lupicia that I wouldn’t say it’s anything special. But it is a limited time tea so it was worth trying out.
Oooh, gold tin. I totally would have.
I’m drawn to shiny things, and the gold tin is very shiny and sparkly.
I know, I had to go look on the website and it’s so pretty. I really like Lupicia’s empty tins, and they’re so cheap – imagine if they sold gold ones, too. My tea cupboard would look like a vault!
