Revisiting this tea this morning. It is still quite good. It has only a little bit of malt and little bitterness or astringency, I am getting a note I didn’t notice last time, I would say roasted chestnuts but that is just an interpretation. I have recently put in another Yunumi order and will have about another half dozen black teas to review. This is a nice tea to wake up to as it is full bodied and has a sweet aftertaste.

I brewed this once in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and 190 degree water for 3 min.

Flavors: Roasted Nuts

Preparation
190 °F / 87 °C 3 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
