I love this tea. It is a great value whether from Puerhshop or Dragon Tea House. It has very little fermentation flavor left. It has very little earthiness at all. It has a lot of sweet flavor, including chocolate notes. My tea today also had orange notes, but that’s because I added 4g of tangerine peel to the gaiwan. This added a nice flavorful, sweet dimension to the tea. This is not a smoked tangerine peel like in tangerine puerh.

I brewed this seven times in a 220ml Gaiwan with 9.2g leaf and 4g tangerine peel in boiling water. I brewed it for 10 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, and 2 min. There were three to five steeps left had I wanted to continue. IT weakened somewhat by the seventh steep. The chocolate notes got more pronounced in the latter steeps.

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
