This tea is strong, very strong. I steeped it as in the instructions, 3 tsp for a 18 oz pot in boiling water. It is way too strong. Next time I think two tsp and only 3 min steep instead of 5. This is a classic example of a tea company recommending the oversteeping of their tea.

The tea is very bitter as well. It is a compressed black tea but not at all like a puerh, not smooth at all. I can’t give it a very high mark. I will try it again in about a week and steep it less, maybe it will be better.
