16 Tasting Notes
I’m starting to think this is best in a mix. I use it to “spike” some of my other blends for extra caffeine content, especially Teavana maté blends that contain very little actual tea. Not to say it isn’t good on its own, I just don’t prefer to drink it that way.
Picked this up at Teavana’s Heavenly sale. 4oz for $3 isn’t a bad deal at all, right?
This one’s good. I don’t think I can give it the most accurate rating on first taste, teas always have to grow on me, but this is definitely an almond tea. The cookie taste hits a bit strong, but I don’t think I pick up on any rose. It leaves a slightly sour aftertaste that I’m unsure about.
Overall, pretty good, as are most of Teavana’s teas. Not amazing, but good.
Preparation
I won’t go too in-depth, I think many others are spot-on in their reviews.
I tried this for the first time after work yesterday. It’s exactly what I was expecting. A great blend of cinnamon and apple. I prepared it without milk originally to sample the taste, and then had a brilliant idea of adding some caramel topping syrup I had with the hot cup. It created an amazing taste that could easily become my favorite dessert tea.
EDIT: Just noticed some terrible misspellings. That’s what I get for writing in a hurry.
