87 Tasting Notes
My favorite chai in Stash’s chai sampler. Then again, I’m not a fan of chai in general, but I do like “holiday” flavors, so that’s probably why. Smells nutmeggy and wonderful, like a pumpkin pie. The spices aren’t too brash in the tea but like some of the other reviewers I can’t quite taste the black tea. I’m not complaining, though—I like the effect. Definitely gets me in the holiday spirit…in July. Whoops.
Smells like some type of delicious baked good containing citrus peel, but ultimately I’d rather have that baked good than this tea. I taste more of the passionfruit than the mango on this one. It’s good, compared to a lot of Stash’s other fruity blends. Like the others, it contains licorice (oh Loki why) but I can’t sense it at all. I don’t get a fake taste like I do with some of the others, either. Overall: I’ll drink it, but I wouldn’t purchase it myself.
I have to say it: I love this tea (especially iced). I am a fan of peach teas in general (…and especially iced), though, so I might be biased.
Smells very peachy, and tastes peachy too, but with a floral taste as well. Neither element is too brash. Overall, this tea reminds me of the faint peachy taste of edible day lilies.
Liking this tea might be genetic…my dad loves it, too!
A standby in my house growing up. However, it’s not quite up to my current tastes. The thing that disappoints me most about it is that it’s inconsistent! Might be just the box I have, but within the box it seems like each bag brews a different flavor even when brewed under identical conditions. Some of the brews were exceptionally bold (maybe too bold, but enjoyable). Some of them might as well be dishwater. It’s never bad-tasting, though, but jeez.
