From Zen Tara Tea

Darjeeling teas are grown in a very defined district at the foothills of the Himalyan mountains. Tea which has been plucked and packaged at a tea garden located in this area has a distinctive, natural aroma and taste with a light almost floral tea liquour imparted by the soil, weather, and elevation. There are typically two harvests, early spring (March-April) Darjeeling tea is known as First Flush while late spring (May-June) is a Second Flush.

A very nice Darjeeling with a very distinct Muscatel note. Sweet and wine-like. Somewhat astringent, slightly dry, reminding me of a sweet, dry wine.

Very enjoyable.
