This year’s “Spring Impression” cake is a blend of tea leaves entirely from the first flush of Spring, originating from Mengku, Bang Dong, and Jing Gu tea gardens. This pressing is a premium interpretation of the Impression series, using spring material from wild arbor and old arbor tea gardens.
We decided to do an all spring Impression because the blend is a such a good one. Although it’s much pricier than previous productions we still believe that it’s worth the price paid. Keep an eye out for a less pricey spring/autumn 2019 Impression released at the end of the year 2019!
The tea has been grown naturally and processed in the traditional method. We blended various teas together to achieve a powerful blend that has strong mouth feeling, cha qi and a balanced sweet, bitter and astringent profile.
Stone-pressed in the traditional manner.
