From Yong De county of Lincang wild arbor tea trees, these flowers were picked and sun-dried in the early part of October! From a natural tea garden with 40 to 80 year old tea trees. These flowers known as “Cha Hua” are from Yunnan Large Leaf varietal tea trees (Camellia Sinensis var. Assamica).
They brew up a golden-yellow thick tea soup. They are sweet with hints of straw and honey. They can be drunk alone or mixed with some raw pu-erh or silver needles tea. They contain only a very very small amount of caffeine so are a good choice for an evening tea session!
