This is another share from the mysterious silver/clear package with the purple writing. And another hit. Sweet and party flavored for sure. Another I can see would be good for … a tea party. So aptly named. :) And pretty with the flowers without needing to add sprinkles or other junk to muck up the water. A decent dessert tea. The tin looks pretty in the picture, too.

Dustin

The tins do look really pretty. I was disappointed to find out the label is just a loosely attached printed plastic sheet, like those glossy plastic receipts some places have. :( Oh well. Keeps me from wanting to collect them all.

Nicole

That is a good thing to know. Keeps my desire to accumulate clutter down as well. :)

Ooooooch! I think I over leafed this! My cup has a bitter edge. I still get the NY Breakfast taste with something floral on top. Almost a honey note in there. Adding cream kills the bite, but doesn’t change the tea significantly other than that. I feel so so about this one.

A friend gave this to me as a birthday gift!
I want pink and gold sparkles to burst out of the canister every time I open it. The dry leaf smell is sooooo pretty! It’s sweetly candied in a way that is more delightful than sickening, with mildly toasted/buttery notes to round it out. And the bright yellow flowers in look like ribbons nestled among the tea leaves! One of my favorite teas, definitely. It conjures up images of cake and delicate cutlery, hahaha.

What a perfect little afternoon treat! I could imagine myself drinking this at high tea with scones (the classic British kind) smothered in cream and strawberry jam, cucumber sandwiches and shortbread (ok must now head to World Market to pick up Walkers Shortbread ASAP). Upon opening the cutesy little container you’re met with the prettiest mix of black tea and long golden marigold leaves and a sugary, candied, buttery aroma. Upon brewing it has the perfect little kick of sweetness to it thanks to the inclusion of vanilla. The perfect afternoon pick me up!
