From Trader Nicks Tea Company

Fruity and lightly floral blend of black tea, currants and rose petals. Let this colorful and delicious tea blend enchant you with flavors of the countryside.

Tasting Notes: black currants | red rose

There is a tale as old as time that reminds us to always have love in our hearts, for beauty is found within. It is also said that nothing goes better with a good book than a cup of tea. We are quite sure that Belle would approve of both of these sayings and would absolutely love our Enchanted Rose tea.

Rich black tea mixed with a stained glass assortment of fruits and botanicals inspired by provincial France. Goes well with breads and meals, and makes a fine morning or afternoon tea. Be sure to get some Enchanted Rose tea before the last petal falls.

Ingredients: black tea, red rose petals, black currants, black currant leaves, and flavor

Steeped this one up over the weekend! It’s definitely not my favourite of the Trader Nick blends I’ve tried, but I think it’s a very solid and well balanced one. I do definitely taste the rose but, as indicated on the packaging, it’s offset by a more jammy black currant note. Both black currant and rose can be quite polarizing but I do really think they compliment on another and create this rich yet aromatic cup profile with a surprising amount of complexity to it. The body was great, and it was just really smoothing and easy sipping. Nothing magical, but nothing unpleasant either. I’d say that, if florals and currants don’t turn you off, it’s well worth a try – seems like it has the potential to be steeped with a lot of flexibility. Hot, iced, tea pop, with milk, with honey…

A bit sad to see another floral tea this month, after the cherry blossom one in April. Ah well, not their fault that I don’t like rose.

It’s honestly a bit bland? I do taste rose, but it’s much milder than the dry scent. Not really getting black currant at all though…? Maybe a little hint.

Not loving it, but mostly due to my personal preferences. Going into my rehoming box so someone else can hopefully enjoy the pretty stained glass-themed label art.

A delightful rosey- currant blend. The florals are a bit stronger than the current but it is the star of the show so it’s expected. One of my favorites from Trader Nicks.

Interesting flavour combination! Not one I would have thought of, but now I’m intrigued!

It’s sooo good! I totally recommend. It’s not in your face currant, it’s more of the slight bitterness of currants.
