An interesting blend of green tea and yerba mate. I didn’t hate it, it was tasty, but I was still a little disappointed because the description suggests a black forest cherry cake flavor and that’s not what I got.
I got a sweet, vegetal taste from the green tea and earthy notes from the yerba mate. Hints of floral notes. A sweet, invigorating taste.
But I got no cake-y flavors, no chocolate, no cherry, and there really is nothing to this blend that even suggests that these flavors might come forward with the exception of a very faint whisper of a sour cherry note. But that is so barely there that it’s not even worth mentioning.
I wanted chocolate and yes, I’m a chocoholic and there’s never enough chocolate but there wasn’t ANY chocolate here.
Disappointment!
I really enjoy this one hot, but I haven’t tried it iced. Make you a deal – I’ll do it iced if you try it hot. ;)
I’d ask what kind of person the 8 year old is! I was very into Pokemon at that age, haha.
I used to have something similar when I was that age. Cant go wrong with fairies!!
@Keen – Haha. Okay, I’ll try it hot and see if my thoughts change.
@Rebecca – She’s definitely into typical 8-year old things like dolls and Littlest Pet Shop.
@CupofTree – I’ve never seen that before. I want one too, lol. This is exactly why people have kids. Lol.
Yes, I have this one and thoroughly enjoy it hot.
