This heavenly, fruity, spicy, sweet composition is made up of numerous single components and flavors. The balanced flavor comes from fresh, ripe, soft pears and a sweet cinnamon nuance. A dash of soft cream gives the final polish. Accept this attractive fruit tea blend as a compensation for a missed dessert, you will love it.
This tea is caffeine free.

Brewing Suggestions
1½ tsp. tea

8 oz. boiling (212°) water
Steep for 3- 5 minutes

Ingredients: apple pieces, hibiscus blossoms, rose hip peel, pineapple cubes (pineapple, sugar), cinnamon pieces, flavoring, sunflower blossoms.

Hibiscus, how I loathe thee! I’ve lost count of the number of promising-sounding fruity tisanes that turned out to be nothing more than a cup of tart, bright pink hibiscus water. So frustrating! If I wanted hibiscus tea, I would buy it; I buy a tea with pear (or apple or strawberry or whatever) because I want to taste that fruit! Anyway, ranting aside…this is (obviously) one of those herbal blends that basically tastes like hibiscus with a tiny bit of fruit thrown in. Not the worst thing I’ve had, but definitely not what was promised by the name or description.

I love hibiscus and am currently drinking it straight every day. Maybe I just got accustomed to sour tastes in childhood? That said, some fruit teas with hibiscus just taste bitter. Now that doesn’t work for me at all.

It’s not that I hate the taste of hibiscus itself…I just hate how it completely takes over almost any blend you put it in and ruins the other flavors that are supposed to be there.

I feel bad, the Angry teas in the tins I sold you are probably Angry’s worst teas… please don’t give up on Angry just based on the teas in the tins. They have some good ones. :D

Day #6 is a herbal so I’m drinking this late. Sadly, I’m not a fan as it tastes way too much like the nightmare that is David’s Apple Cider tea. And this one has hibiscus. A little hibiscus goes a LONNNG way. It’s probably my fault. I probably used too many leaves and steeped for too many minutes. I should have known what might happen though. But this is a harsh brew. Yikes. I’m not sure why this is called pear as it is mostly apple, hibiscus and pineapple. The cinnamon doesn’t even make an appearance. But I would have loved a true pear and cinnamon herbal blend. This one isn’t for me!
