From Teavana

Sip and slip away into a calming comfort, as this soothing medley relaxes the mind and body. Peaceful vervaine hums softly as blossoms of mallow & sunflower whisper assuring notes of flowery fineness. Sweet carrot, orange peel and ginger add additional contentment as pillowy peppermint grants a refreshing serenity.

Soothing fruity and floral infusion with minty undertones.

How to Prepare:
Use 1.5 teaspoons of tea per 8 ounces of water. Heat water to just boiling (208 degrees) and steep for 5-6 minutes. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.

Ingredients:
Vervaine, apple bits, carrot bits, orange peel, ginger bits, marshmallow leaves, peppermint, green Rooibos, candied papaya, rosebuds, raisins, mallow blossoms, passion flower petals and peach bits.

I like herbal teas but it is difficult to find ones that don’t have citrus (a migraine trigger) or chamomile (an allergen). Additionally, I’m not a huge fan of peppermint; I know, I’m picky, what can I say? This tea is a very nice, soothing and harmonious blend of mild and light tastes. Although the peppermint scent is prominent, it’s taste is (thankfully) very muted, hiding nicely underneath the ginger and the vervain. An excellent tea for the evening, either with or without a sweetener. I’ll definitely buy it again.

I forgot to mention: even though there is a bit of citrus in this one, the flavor doesn’t seem pronounced to my tastebuds, and no migraine so far, so that’s good!

I have to admit, I originally bought this tea because of one of my guilty obsessions, Vampire Diaries. This however, has become one of my favorite herbal teas. The carrot is the top note with a touch of spice that lingers underneath, it almost reminds me of liquid carrot cake. I think I’ll go make a cup now..

I am not entirely sure what I think about this tea. I personally think it smells disgusting. It tastes exactly like fruity pebbles to me.

This smells citrus and peppermint to my nose. I steeped I’t for a few minutes. This taste like citrus more then anything with some peppermint. Good.

This is a very interesting tea. On the nose its very fruity and slightly floral, but once you take a sip, the earthiness becomes evident. Dried apricots and menthol. I enjoy this tea as a treat when I want something different.

This is my staple blend. I have digestive issues and this tea really hits the spot. Better than straight peppermint for dealing with indigestion and nausea, and it tastes great to boot. The smell is out of this world; it’s so flowery and herbal. Major love for this blend.
