The half and half blend from Teavana has a very fruity flavor. I like it lightly sweetened. Today I’m trying it with agave nectar and it’s bringing out the jasmine flavor some.
Aha! I’ve finally figured out Teavana’s secret to their delicious samples: Use lots of tea!
So true! It made me laugh when I looked at their recipes for how to make tea like their samples. For some of them they use 8 total teaspoons of tea just for a 16 oz. drink. Plus around 5 teaspoons of rock sugar, which is probably close to like 20 grams of sugar! Even if you make it unsweetened, it makes for a super expensive drink if you like it as strong as they make it at the store!

My tea drinking had fallen off as the weather has gotten hotter and more humid. But this little number will bring me back.
My issue with this tea, is that I had an amazing sample in the store, which lead to me purchasing both blends of teas in seperate containers, a measuring spoon, kettle, and so on, spent a lot of money, even on the exact sugar they use. I followed the directions on the sticker, and still can’t get it to taste anything like the in store sample. Very irritating.
