A pretty solid, flavorful, yet not grassy or floral green oolong. This oolong is nice and buttery with heavy creamy texture. There are interesting herbal vegetal notes. Hard to explain that herbal flavor, like the background of mint or parsley, but yet not tasting minty.
The tea leaf is pretty good quality – nice and big leaves! The last teascent tea I had was bagged and kind of smashed up, however their loose leaf is quite nice.

This Oolong is pleasant in a middle of the road sort of way, by that I mean it’s not too grassy and floral nor is it toasted, but rather somewhere in the middle. It has some sweetness and dryness but both are light. The after taste is nice and it lingers on my tongue for a while. It also has some mineral tones.
It’s nice but not special if I’m honest, at least not for me. I did like the samples Teascent were kind enough to give me though and I would consider placing a small order with them in the future. I’m always on the look out for teas that would be suitable for icing, with minimal harshness, maybe this would work well.
