One of my favorite cold brews! Refreshing without being too tart or overbearing. Rose is present, but not overly floral. My entire family loves this on its own or mixed with lemonade. My only complaint is that if I drink too much, the turmeric upsets my stomach. But that just means I shouldn’t drink more than 2 quarts in any given day.

Turmeric sounds like an odd addition to this flavor profile?

This one has a sour rose flavor that’s pretty unpleasant, but it can be decently tamed with sugar. It’s really sour, sort of like pink lemonade, but if you think of it in that sort of way, it works. I wouldn’t say I notice lychee specifically, maybe just a touch if I’m paying attention. It’s pink lemonade all the way. The way they create these to steep in cold water in seven minutes just leads to sour weirdness.

Oh, friends, we were SO close! I love rose and I love lychee, but tart hibiscus and I are very rarely on the same wavelength. This blend is light, refreshing, suuuuuper lovely, and would have been even lovelier without the hibiscus. Prepared plain: it’s unsweetened, but it doesn’t need sweetener. I had no idea rose and lychee made such a great combination. If I ever get more of this, I shall try sweetening it with a drop or two of Rooh Afza, which is a rose-flavoured syrup.

I bet that would make a delicious iced cooler for the hot, muggy East coast summers.

Definitely! So far (knocks head) I’ve had great luck with their cold brews.
