From Teaopia

This fruit blend contains the traditional base of hibiscus, apple pieces and rose-hip peel with the addition of cinnamon bits and currants. The contrast between the sweetness of the fruit and spicy aroma of cinnamon combine to create a perfectly balanced beverage. The classic combination of flavours in this fruit blend is perfect served either hot or iced and can be enjoyed any time of day.

Thanks to Reasoned_Melody for sending me some of this!

I really wish that the hibiscus wasn’t in this, because other than that this is a really yummy blend. That darn hibiscus is just a wee bit over powering and drowns out the sweeter apple taste. Ah well.

Going to try this one over ice and see if that makes it less tart.

I prefer it iced with a generous helping of rock sugar. Although I’m also a closet hibiscus lover lol. Don’t tell!:p

This is good, just not particularly exciting. There’s apple, there’s cinnamon. Ho hum. I generally like apple cinnamon herbals in the colder months because of the cider association, but this one doesn’t have all that much flavour. It’s pretty decent when mixed with Teaopia’s white pear though. But not something I’ll miss when it’s gone. If it’s ever gone!

Yeah, I wasn’t impressed when I smelled it in the store. Yet it’s such a lovely combination.

This was a free sample from the Julian tea cottage. Overall it’s not impressive. Couldn’t taste much apple or cinnamon, but the black base was quite nice. There could’ve been more apple or cinnamon to justify its namesake, but then again these fruity teas aren’t my thing anyway..

Just what I’m looking for: apple and cinnamon combined evenly. A lot of apple cinnamon teas forget the apple and end up tasting more like the cinnamon, but this is a good one. If you know of any others that are more apple tasting, let me know.
