Backlogging from Boston: I was lucky to be able to spend some time in the basement tea bar with a friend and a pot of this tea. It was a lovely time, atmosphere, and pot of tea. Nothing spectacular about the tea, but it was a good, solid oolong.

Not sure what to think of this. It’s definitely got character, but it’s a very brusque and affronting tea. Opens up slowly to a wide range of flavors, all around the same category as the first steeping, which is the least pleasant, but still somewhat tasty.

A very decent cup, at a decent price. I’d put this near the ~50% oxidation level. It’s got good stonefruit character, a nice softness, a bit of mint-like sensation on the smack and a pleasant buzz. A great daily drinking office tea. Apparently, organic.
