From Teacha Tea

Maojian tea’s distinctive spring aroma plays well off the fresh flavors of seafood, salad, and chicken. Also try Maojian with savory or citrusy dishes, as its refreshing flavor can satisfy the thirst created by salt and acid.

Although listed as a green, this reminded me more of a roasted oolong in the way it smelled and tasted. The dry leaf smelled a bit like chocolate. The infusion had that roasted tea smell and taste which was the dominant taste note for me.

This was a very pleasant morning tea. I enjoyed it a lot.
