A clean young raw pu-erh with atypical honey floral sweetness not found in most young raws.
This light rose-gold elixir first tickles your nose with pungent fresh floral mao cha aroma with sweet spring flowers. Upon the first sip you’ll notice a bright texture yielding a slight pucker on the center of your tongue.
Flavor notes of sweet floral, roses, woods dance throughout the steepings.
Incredibly subtle dryness and astringency towards the end of the steepings, which can be avoided with lowering the brewing temperatures towards the end.
This lovely tea finishes with a sweet honey-like

The notes are quite light, with notes of citrus pith, dew, and cotton.

Nice looking leaves. Highly aromatic. Tastes floral and mushroomy. Went thru decent amount of steeps. I started with short steeps and they were sweet and pleasant. When pushed it’s pleasantly bitter and astringent as expected for young sheng. Seems like perfect sheng for beginners or someone on the go who wants to steep it grandpa

Teabook offers higher-end Denong teas for the self-proclaimed connoisseurs, and openly advertises their house-brand puerhs as entry-level teas. When viewed in the proper context, this sheng really does taste crisp, clean, and flavorful. As I said earlier, I really preferred this tea grandpa style, but that’s just me. For new drinkers, especially those who have yet to pick up their first gaiwan, this tea is a must. Its ability to preform well grandpa style is a huge selling-point, and will really help ease newcomers into the vast and seemingly endless world of puerh…

It was floral, sweet, and vegetal. It was a great Sheng, and easy to drink as well. The first steeps were light and sweet, while the middle steeps were heavier. Towards the end steeps, it left a sweetness that lingered in the mouth. I would highly recommend this Sheng to people who are looking to try Sheng, because although it’s a great tea, it’s also easy to drink.

When you say dew, do you mean the flavor was weak and watery? Where I live, dew doesn’t have any flavor since it is basically very pure distilled water condensing out of the atmosphere. I suppose in cities in might taste like carbon if it picks up smog and impurities in the air.
