From Tea Trekker

Xin Chang County, Zhejiang Province, China
Pan-fired
Flat leaf style
Rich & nutty, chestnut & ‘toast’ flavors
Clean, but intensely-nutty aroma
Pale amber-colored liquor tending toward straw

This Longjing will perk up even the most jaded palate. Chinese tea enthusiasts seek out Longjing Dafo Village for its clean, toasty, refreshing and earthy flavor. A little dry “pull” of astringency makes this tea extremely thirst-quenching.

Delicious Longjing tea has been made in Zhejiang Province for many centuries. This fine Longjing tea is made just outside of the Xi Hu designated Longjing region in Xin Chang county.

There is a long history of tea cultivation and tea drinking in this region: much of it began centuries ago to supply the needs of the resident monks and visiting scholars at the Dafo Buddhist Temple ( constructed 4th century BC).

Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz of water
Steep 2-3 infusions at 2 minutes each.
Water temperature should be 170° – 180° F
