Been awhile since I’ve reviewed anything on here. Although it’s been a pretty mild winter here I’ve been spending some time hiking in the snow on the rare days we have it and these Thai Liu Bao are my favorite teas for such activities. All of these teas are chocolatey warming , thick and woody/spicy. While most of these teas are hardly distinguishable from ripe puerh, this one has a bit more of the funky twangy Liu bao taste which you either like or don’t. I’ve grown to like it. It’s got a nice balanced qi. Not jangly or drowsing, just nicely focusing and mood lifting. Just the thing for a cold day on the mountains. I recommend trying all of the teas from this vendor. Thai teas are of great quality and value. To me the character of Thai teas is similar to that of Yibang only a bit less thick and concentrated but at a small fraction of the price.
