I’m not usually a fan of rooibos and I’ve never really made any big secret of that. However, I have enjoyed these dark chocolate rooibos blends from Tea of Life. The chocolate notes are very well-defined. And … I’m a bit of a chocoholic.
So this blend was right up my alley, lots of dark chocolate flavor together with creamy vanilla. I tasted some honey-like sweetness from the rooibos and maybe a hint of nutty tones from the rooibos, but that’s really all I taste from the rooibos and that’s OK with me.
