Last tea of the night!
I unintentionally underleafed it, so it was a little weak/bland – but the peppermint did come through quite a bit despite that. The caramel? Well, not so much. That was a bit of a shame. Also, I drank it at stone cold temperature – and it made for a refreshing late night tea.
And now I think I’m ready to go to bed!
Another one from Roswell Strange :)
This is a rooibos with mint flavour. The brewed tea is surprisingly strongly mint. Very much peppermint. Reminds me of those peppermint candies you get after your meal at a restaurant, the ones that are white with the red stripes. It is thick and creamy. There is a metallic rooibos tang to the tea. The rooibos is strong underneath the mint.
One from Roswell Strange I have so many samples in my house at the moment that i’m finding it hard to focus on sipping them down, so for the time being until i get my drink back on, i’m content to just try a few each week, gradually whittling them down. I picked this one because i was curious as to what “Victorian MiSt” would taste like…yeah..that’s right. MIST…riiight up until i poured water on it and went. oh..OH…MIIINT. lol
So this one is pretty nice. I don’t need many mint teas in my life, so i don’t feel the need to stock this one, but it was pretty tasty. I enjoyed this tonight while finally watching the last episode of Warehouse 13. thanks Roswell!
